The Susan Bentley School of Dance opened its doors in 1981. The school is under the directorship of Mrs Susan Bentley and her team of experienced teachers. Children from as young as three years old to professional dancers are encouraged to take their first dance steps or prepare for their teaching examinations or auditions in a friendly atmosphere. All pupils are prepared for recognised exams of the IDTA and NCDTA this encourages a gradual progress and a chance to achieve according to their talents and abilities. The school sets a high standard and several of the pupils have gone on to the professional stage.
